Q: Can I have access to the framework contract?
A: The framework contract is available on the supplier catalog and on the France purchasing intranet in the section Our hotel services offer
Q: Which contract should I refer to?
A: The contract signed between you and your supplier, in the case of a referenced supplier, the contract is called the application agreement.
Q: Who is my main contact in the Purchasing department?
A: Accor Customer Service is there to meet your needs according to the procedure and form in place
Q: How long is my contract?
A: The agreements are generally 36 to 48 months, this point must be checked by you, also taking into account any amendments that you have signed
Q: How can I terminate my contract?
A: You must refer to the "termination" article of the agreement and respect the time and registered letter conditions
Q: What is the vintage rule?
A: The rule is to allow a tolerance of 4 vintages in circulation, including the current one. Nevertheless the rules can be subject to variation according to the renters, it is necessary to approach the RDA of the region
Q: Can the lessor charge me for the loss of linen?
A: Yes according to the terms described in the "inventory" article of the Accor application agreement or in the case of a supplier listed according to the clause of the signed contract
Q: If I change rental company, do I have to buy back the laundry?
A: Yes, according to the terms described in the "linen buy-back" article of the agreement, the buy-back can be made by the incoming lessor and if not agreed, organized and / or refused, the hotel takes the place
Q: Can I request a hygiene audit of my laundry, and who to request it?
A: Yes, an audit can be requested, for any need, please contact customer service (procedure to be timed)
Q: How can I recognize worn laundry?
A: the laundry must not be rough, damaged or have spots that cannot be presented to the customer
Q: How does the non-conforming laundry system work why should it be put in place?
A: Linen identified as non-compliant must be placed in a bag for quality exchange in order to proceed with a redelivery or credit. This makes it possible to maintain the quality of the customer's linen and to remove from the stock the linen which must be discarded.
Q: What is the difference between laundering and renting?
A: In a rental system, the purchase and ownership of linen is the responsibility of the lessor. The purchase is amortized over the term of the agreement. In a laundry system, the purchase and the stock belongs to the hotel. The lessor only offers the laundry cleaning service.
Q: What are the prices negotiated on which range?
A: The negotiated prices are those present on the price schedule of each lessor available in the supplier catalog.
Q: Where can I find my supplier's negotiated rates?
A: The negotiated price list is available on the Supplier Directory on Astoreprocurment.com in the sheet of your launderer
Q: How much inventory does the laundromat need to do?
A: It is agreed that 2 contradictory inventories must take place during the year.
Q: What is the stock allocated for my hotel?
A: When setting up the contract, this working stock is determined in the agreement.
Q: Is the laundry received only for my hotel?
A: There are 2 different operating modes: “batch” operation or an endowment of laundry is intended only for you and “fungible” operation where the laundry is shared between several establishments using the same range of laundry as yours.
Q: What are the terms and conditions for changing supplier?
A: Refer to your agreement signed with your launderer to respect the termination dates and deadline for sending A / R mail. Inform by email his RDA for notification of choice and / or support to a new referenced supplier
Q: What are the terms if the launderer is in default?
A: Respect the operating procedures and deadlines notified in the agreement. Usually a letter of formal notice sent in A / R with a request for compliance with standards within 30 days.
Q: Is it possible to change the range of linen for my hotel?
A: Refer to brand standards and the possible options validated by the Brand. Coordinate with the lessor as there are linen investments from your current stock that may not have yet been amortized.
Q: I have to close my hotel, what should I do?
A: Immediately inform your supplier to let him know whether it will be closed temporarily or permanently. Formalize it by letter A / R. Inform your RDA if there is a need for support with the supplier.
Q: What is Accor linen?
A: This is linen specific to each of the Accor brands, reserved exclusively for Accor brands. It was co-designed by Accor and the manufacturers according to precise specifications.
Q: Can I give away old linen to a charity?
A: In a rental model, the laundry own the linen, you cannot give away the linen without prior agreement from the supplier.
If your hotel own the linen then the general manager will need to agree to this.
