To combine an order with a previously placed order follow these simple steps:
- Simply place the "forgotten" or additional products to the cart.
- Then in the cart page you will see the option to combine your order with an already existing order that has not yet been delivered. --> Select the purchase order you wish to associate your current order with.
- Continue the checkout process as normal.
You're new order will be placed as normal, with a new PO number and new PO PDF. The PO PDF will have the order number of the combined order in it.
/!\ The combine order feature only displays if all of the following conditions are met :
- There is a current order already placed with the SAME supplier that is due for delivery (i.e not already shipped or delivered) and that order has already met all of the delivery conditions (minimum order amount, value, or shipping fees thresholds)
- The value of your cart is under the usual minimum order amount / quantity etc. If it is above, then there is no need to combine your order (simply place the order as normal)
- The supplier can manage the combine orders feature and has it activated
The combined order number appears in the Purchase order PDF. Similarly the PDF of the first order (Parent order) will also be updated with the field "combined order" and the number of the combined purchase order.
