It is possible that the product selected by the customer/hotel user is not part of the products authorized for purchase. In this case a popup will be displayed explaining that the product cannot be placed in the basket.
This popup appears when the customer tries to put an unauthorized product in the shopping cart. A product is refused for purchase as soon as it is not part of the reference book, specific to each brand or hotel group.
Referencing booklet:
The reference books are composed of products that are recommended and mandatory to purchase for each brand or group. These specifications are defined by brand marketing, F&B marketing and procurement.
These include products with the best prices that can be achieved through sales, products whose range is in line with the brand positioning, or products that are available for delivery within the hotel's geographical area.
For example, for Ibis, a madeleine is key product for the brand and therefore a mandatory product to buy for breakfast.
