Context
Previously, we displayed the hotel's general phone number instead of the personal phone number of the person who placed the order on the purchase order.
We have received feedback from delivery staff and hotels that it was sometimes hard to locate the right contact person up on the delivery person’s arrival.
To address this business need, we modified this practice by displaying the hotel user's phone number directly on the purchase order.
This will enable suppliers to contact them directly if needed, in addition to their company's number. In general, this will greatly enhance the delivery process's effectiveness and alleviate the frustration faced by hotel front office staff when trying to locate colleagues who have placed orders and instead allowing them to focus on attending to their guests' needs.
We kindly request you to update your account user’s information and add in their personal phone number.
How to update my user's personal phone number
Please follow the steps outlined below to update your users personal phone number:
Once you’ve logged onto Astore Shop, navigate to:
1. Click on "My account" in the blue menu
2. Click on User Management
3. Please scroll down to view the list of Users (under the list of Group)
4. Click on the little “pen” pictogram to modify the user
5. Modify the Phone number and save in the pop-in
