Here are the steps you (as a technical person) will have to go through to run the API integration - to complete some of them you will need a support from commercial person and from your onboarder:
- Choosing the integration approach – together with your onboarder you will discuss the pros and cons of API integration and decide if you want to invest in such development and choose which objects to integrate (orders and messages, offers, products) - you do not have to integrate everything.
- Get the shop API key, install Postman and connect to Preprod environment for test integration - this assumes that the Shop is already created.
- Develop and test API integration – for tests you can use Postman tool to simulate API calls and see what the Accor Mirakl returns. - Acceptance tests - when you finish development of API integration please perform acceptance tests with your onboarder to confirm that you are ready for production.
- Go-live on Production - when the Shop is created on Production system (by the commercial person), all onboarding activities are done (also those apart from API integration) and there is an official decision to go live, then it's time to connect your system to Production Accor Mirakl - use the correct URL and shop API key.
