Introduction
There will be several reasons to work with and update your offers (and offer template):
- You want to update the information for an offer/product being displayed on Astore Shop – e.g update the price or stock. In this case, please refer to the article How to update an existing offer?
- You need to de-activate: Your product is out of stock for a short time, so you need to temporarily remove it from sale. It still will be displayed on Astore Shop - How to remove or delete a product from sale on Astore Shop?
- You want to remove a product from Astore Shop: If you want to remove a product from your shop on Astore Shop, you must delete the offer connected to the product.
Reminder: Setting the stock of a product to "0" will not remove the product from the shop! It will only be displayed as out of stock.
How to delete an offer
To delete an offer, there are two ways to proceed technically: manage the offer directly in your Mirakl shop account (1) and manage the offer over the offer template (2). Both will result in removing your product from Astore Shop, but the product will be still visible in Mirakl.

1) Manage your offers directly/manually via the Mirakl shop homepage
Be cautious. If you use both methods to manage your offers (manual and template upload), be cautious. If you delete an offer manually (as above), but then at a later time, import an offer template file which has that same offer in the file - this manually managed offer change will be overwritten by whatever is in the file you uploaded.
2) Manage the offer with the offer template:
There are two import options for your offer template. Which one you choose to use will depend on whether you choose to manage a full history of offers or not.
- NORMAL MODE: If you keep a history of all your offers in your offer template file, please fill the column [update-delete] with the value DELETE in uppercase and upload the file in mode “Normal”.
- REPLACE MODE: If you maintain only active offers in your offer template file, you simply delete the full line and upload the file in REPLACE mode.
When using the offer template upload function, you can manage both the update of offers (pricing, stock etc) and the deletion of offers in one upload. This may be a more efficient way for you to manage your offers.
Attention: Uploading your file in REPLACE mode deletes all offers not appearing in your offer template. There is no rollback to this action and no way to restore the deleted offers by our technical team. If choosing this procedure, please always keep an old version of your offer template as a fall-back solution. There is also no history of your deleted offers in our systems.
