In case you want a product to no longer appear on Astore Shop, you should delete the offer attached to the product (At the bottom of this article there is a link is explaining how to manage this). To completely delete a product - is not technically possible. Deleting an offer has actually the same effect as deleting a product for the clients and is the procedure we recommend to maintain an accurate product base for sale on Astore Shop.
The offers statuses are important to understand if you want to delete a product, so here a kind reminder:
- Active Offer: means that the offer can be ordered on Astore Shop;
- Inactive offer: means that the offer cannot be ordered on Astore Shop but remains visible on the front of the website (with appropriate status);
- Deleted offer: means that you removed the offer from Mirakl. It doesn’t exist anymore on our website and will no longer be displayed.
We strongly advise you to keep these best practices in mind and keep your shop running smoothly when you want to remove an item from sale:

- Set and maintain your offers as "Inactive" during 60 days in order to inform customers about end of availability period;
- After the 60 days “communication” period you must delete your product offers that have been set as "Inactive".

- If you do really want to permanently remove products from sale, we recommend that you first update the offer for that product to “Inactive” for 60 days, and then after 60 days deleting the offer entirely. This will ensure the product does not suddenly disappear for the users but informs them of when the product was removed. When using the inactive offer status you must provide an “end of availability period”.
The use of the "Inactive" status is not mandatory, but customers will be confused and experiencing unforeseen problems if products disappear without previous communication. To avoid complaints, please use the 60 days period to inform all your customers about changes; - Remind them to update their stock again when the temporary delist is complete.

Please note: If a product is out of stock for only a short time period then deleting the offer is not the correct process. Instead update your offer quantity to 0. It will display as “Coming soon” to the users which temporarily removes it from sale without fully removing the product from Astore shop. Please do not forget to update your stock again when you product is available for sale again;
