Customers can log in, browse the catalog, and place orders with their chosen suppliers, who receive, process, and deliver those orders. Astore Shop simplifies the purchasing process by providing support throughout every stage of the supply chain lifecycle, with a wide range of products available including food, beverages, operating supplies & equipment, IT & guest technology products, and some FF&E equipment. How does Astore Shop work?
Astore Shop provides a comprehensive platform that connects suppliers with hotels, offering a seamless experience for product management, pricing, and order fulfillment.
To better understand how Astore Shop works, let's explore the key components of this dynamic digital ecosystem that consists of integrations with Mirakl, Akeneo, Magento and the Astore Shop Front Office:
- At the core of Astore Shop is Mirakl, a leading marketplace platform. Mirakl serves as the foundation for Astore Shop, enabling the smooth operation of transactions between suppliers and hotels. This portal serves as a command center, allowing suppliers to have full visibility and control over their offerings. From the portal, suppliers can upload new products, modify pricing information and monitor order statuses.
- To streamline the management of product information, Astore Shop is integrated with Akeneo, a Product Information Management (PIM) system. Akeneo acts as a comprehensive library for product data, storing and organizing essential information such as descriptions, specifications, and images. The PIM capabilities of Akeneo enhance efficiency by providing a centralized location for Accor to manage the product catalog.
- Astore Shop is integrated with Magento, a popular e-commerce platform, specifically tailored for the hospitality industry. The customized version of Magento used by Astore Shop is used to manage the client database and control their access to AstoreShop. It facilitates account pairings and allows us to configure personalised delivery days for clients and suppliers. This tool is only accessible by digital team members and customer service agents and is not available to suppliers and clients.

The Astore Shop Front Office is our client-facing marketplace, showcasing all the data uploaded and managed in Mirakl, Akeneo, and Magento. Customers can explore suppliers' shops, search for products, add offers to their carts, and place orders. Note that suppliers do not have access to the Astore Shop Front.
